It looks like August Alsina’s new single “Drugs is also the title track to his next album. August Alsina returned from his hiatus earlier today with the release of his new single “Drugs,” and it turns out that it’s actually the title track to his forthcoming album. On Friday, August took to Instagram to show his gratitude to be back making music, along with the news of his album title. “Today is a beautiful day for me,” he said. “I’m finally able to drop new music. I just dropped my new song, it’s title track to my new album. As the summer draws to a close, so does a season of eclectic, high-energy music encapsulated by a prolific pop music scene. Just because the summer is ending, however, doesn’t mean those songs should fall off your playlist. One track in particular, ‘Closer’ by The Chainsmokers, is worth keeping in one’s rotation. The dynamic track was one of the most infectious releases of the summer. The Chainsmokers are an American DJ duo that consists of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. For this single, they collaborated with Ashley Frangipane, better known as Halsey , an electropop vocalist that has exploded into the music industry over the last year.
