The Game Ordered To Pay Sexual Assault Victim Over $7 Million
The
Game was found guilty of sexual assault and has been ordered to pay
Priscilla Rainey, a former contestant on his game show, $7.13 million.
After
it was revealed yesterday that a jury found The Game guilty of sexually
assaulting Priscilla Rainey, who was a contestant on his 2015
"Bachelor"-esque reality show, TMZ now reports that the judge has
ordered the Compton rapper to pay Rainey $7.13 million. Her lawsuit, in
which she cited "physical, psychological, and emotional damages," had
originally been for $10 million.
The
assault allegedly took place some time during the filming of the show
at a bar in Illinois when The Game was highly intoxicated. She said he
made inappropriate contact with her multiple times throughout the night,
and claimed that, at one point, he "forcefully reach[ed] his hand
inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks."
The
Game maintained his innocence throughout the trial, and according to
TMZ, he plans to appeal the judge's $7 million decision.
